Jennifer Oglesby Holman is the executive director of Arkansas Literacy Councils, which provides structure and support to over 40 community literacy councils throughout the state. Jennifer's previous work history includes experience in non-profits, public affairs, and government. She has seen a variety of print as a copywriter and served as press secretary for a U.S. Congressman for over five years. Jennifer holds a degree in Journalism from Arkansas Tech University and is a graduate of Little Rock Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XXI. She was awarded a Master of Public Administration from UALR in December 2010. Jennifer enjoys working on behalf of environmental and clean energy issues and embraces the persistent effort it takes to change her family’s lifestyle. She lives with her husband, Brock,and their two children(and Flint the Dog and Punkin' the Cat) in Little Rock. She enjoys reading, canoeing, camping, gardening and fishing, and is a native of Hatfield, AR (population 410).
